FindaBiz Networking is a business-in-a-box franchise – meaning you get everything you need to get you up and running your group. This includes our training package.
June has been an exciting month, welcoming two new franchisees into the FindaBiz team and completing their training. So I thought I would give you a behind-the-scenes look at how we train up a FindaBiz Group Organiser. FindaBiz training is run over 3 days but we are flexible and fit in with everyone’s calendar. It’s also really nice to train in a group because networking is about people, so great to have a few people there to practice with! We started our training on Monday 10th June, with a full day (10 am – 3 pm) in person. We were in the function/meeting room of one of our regular FindaBiz venues, The New Plough Inn Pub, which guaranteed us a great lunch. We started with Product training. This is getting everyone familiar with the history of FindaBiz, our USP and what happens inside and outside of a meeting. We also practiced with the meeting agenda script and whistle. After lunch we looked at networking training, both of our new franchisees had good networking experience but it’s still useful to go over the basics. Networking training included discussions on the role of networking in business and its value as well as practical skills such as a 60-second pitch and knowing who to talk to. We picked up the training again on Friday 14th June, on Zoom this time, where we looked at admin, finance and data. We completed the training the following Monday, back at the New Plough Inn, but this time we were looking at Sales and Marketing in the morning, followed by an afternoon of practical set-up. Making sure everyone had access to their emails, website…. etc. These training sessions were brilliantly timed as the following Friday was our quarterly Team Day. This was a great opportunity to introduce the new franchisees to the rest of the team and give them their certificates for completing their training! Want to join the team? I have enjoyed opportunities to meet likeminded people and share opportunities that support both mine and their businesses!
