One accountant in each group
Every FindaBiz group keeps one seat per trade, so each group has room for one accountant. When a member hears that a client needs year-end accounts, a tax return or help registering a new company, the referral goes to the accountant in that room. At FindaBiz Hinckley the Accountant seat is already taken. In seven other groups it is still open.
If you run an accounting practice, the open groups are listed further down, including FindaBiz Coventry East, FindaBiz Nuneaton and FindaBiz Sutton Coldfield. If you are looking for an accountant you can trust, you’ll find the Accountant members already in the network below.
The Accountant seat is currently available in our Lichfield group. Each group has one business per trade, so it would be yours alone.
Accountants already in our network
Each group holds just one accountant, so these are the businesses who own that seat in their group.

These FindaBiz groups don’t yet have an accountant. Take the seat and be the only one in the room.

Why the single Accountant seat matters
Most accountants win new clients by recommendation. People will deal with their accountant every year, often for ten years or more, so they want a name from someone they already trust. In a FindaBiz group you are the only accountant the members can recommend, and you don’t compete with another practice for their referrals.
Between meetings, members meet one to one to learn how each other’s businesses work. This gives them time to understand what you do: whether you handle sole traders, limited companies, landlords or payroll, and what kind of client you want. A member who knows that can make an introduction that fits.
Trades that refer clients to an accountant
Several trades in FindaBiz groups often meet people who need an accountant. A Bookkeeper’s clients grow and need year-end accounts, corporation tax returns or advice on structure, and bookkeepers and accountants often share clients. Mortgage Advisers work with self-employed buyers who need accounts and tax calculations before a lender will look at them. Financial Advisers deal with clients’ pensions, investments and tax planning, so they hear when someone has no accountant or isn’t happy with the one they have.
Conveyancing Solicitors see people selling second homes and buy-to-let properties who may owe capital gains tax. Advisers in Trusts Wills Lasting Power of Attorney work with families settling estates who need returns filed. Human Resources consultants get payroll and pension questions as soon as an employer takes on staff. Web Designers, Marketing and Business Change consultants often work with people who are just starting out and asking whether to be a sole trader or a limited company. Referrals go the other way too, because an accountant can see which clients need any of these services.
