Estate Agent networking seat

Estate agents value, market and sell homes and let property for landlords. In FindaBiz estate agent networking, each group keeps one seat for an estate agent, so local introductions have one clear place to go.

Why one estate agent per group matters

Most estate agency work starts with a conversation, often long before a For Sale board goes up. Someone mentions they are thinking of moving, a landlord wants a second opinion on rent, or a family is sorting out a parent’s house. The first person to hear about it is quite often a solicitor, a mortgage adviser or a builder, and who they recommend usually comes down to who they know and trust.

A FindaBiz group has one estate agent seat. Whoever holds it is the agent the rest of the room thinks of when a property comes up, and there is no second agency across the table chasing the same introduction. If you are a buyer, seller or landlord looking for an agent, the members already in the network are listed below.

The Estate Agent seat is currently available in our Lutterworth group. Each group has one business per trade, so it would be yours alone.

The trades that hear about moves first

Conveyancing solicitors and mortgage advisers work closest to a sale. A client getting a mortgage in principle usually needs a home to buy, and a solicitor handling a purchase is often asked who could sell the client’s current place. Financial advisers see it from another angle, when retirement planning or downsizing comes up.

Some good introductions come from less obvious places. A trusts, wills and lasting power of attorney specialist or a family law solicitor is often dealing with a house that has to be sold after a death or a separation, and those clients want an agent who will handle it with care. Care providers meet families arranging a move into care. Builders know which homeowners are finishing a renovation before they sell, and an oven cleaning business might be booked to get a property ready for viewings. Insurance brokers and accountants who work with landlords can point them towards a letting service.

Referrals go the other way as well. An estate agent meets buyers who need a mortgage, sellers who need conveyancing and new owners who want a builder, so the seat holder usually has plenty to pass back.

How a FindaBiz group builds that trust

People refer businesses they understand, and a quick handshake at a meeting isn’t enough for that. FindaBiz members meet one to one between meetings to learn how each other works: the areas you cover, the type of property you handle, whether you do lettings as well as sales. That is what lets a mortgage adviser recommend you by name and mean it.

The estate agent seat in FindaBiz Kirby Muxloe is already taken. It is open in FindaBiz Coventry, FindaBiz Hinckley, FindaBiz Lichfield, FindaBiz Lutterworth, FindaBiz Nuneaton, FindaBiz Southam and Leamington Spa and FindaBiz Sutton Coldfield, and those groups are shown further down the page.

Visiting as a guest first

You come along as a guest before joining, and the first visit is free. That gives you time to meet the room and see which trades are already there before you decide anything. It makes sense to pick the group closest to the area where you sell and let.
