Why the Printer seat counts
Most print work comes by recommendation. Someone needs flyers for a launch, or new letterheads after a rebrand, so they ask a person they trust who to use. Each FindaBiz group has one seat for a Printer, so when another member hears that request, there is only one Printer in the room to put forward.
FindaBiz Nuneaton already has its Printer. The seat is open in Coventry, Hinckley, Kirby Muxloe, Lichfield, Lutterworth, Southam and Leamington Spa, and Sutton Coldfield. Those groups are listed below, along with the Printer members already in the network.

Each group holds just one printer, so these are the businesses who own that seat in their group.

Where the Printer seat is open
These FindaBiz groups don’t yet have a printer. Take the seat and be the only one in the room.

Who passes work to a Printer
Some of the steadiest referrals come from people whose own work ends up on paper. A Copywriter or Marketing consultant writes the words for a brochure, and then the client asks where to get it printed. Once a new site goes live, Web Designers are often asked for matching business cards and stationery. A Photographer may have clients who want prints or canvases.
Estate Agents need property brochures and window cards week in, week out. Training & Events members order name badges and delegate workbooks. An Accountant or Business Coach meets new businesses right at the start, just when they need their first business cards and shop signage. All of these members talk to the customer before the print job exists, and that is when a referral is worth most.
How a FindaBiz group helps a Printer
Members pass each other referrals and meet one to one between meetings, so the people around the table get to know how you work: your usual turnaround, the finishes you offer, the smallest run you will print and the jobs you most like doing. Take a few samples to a one to one and a Web Developer or Social Media Manager is far more likely to think of you the next time a client mentions printed material.
With one seat per trade, the print referrals in a group go to its Printer. You come along as a guest first, and the first visit is free, so you can meet the members and decide whether the group suits your business. FindaBiz also runs free online networking every Friday for anyone with a free account. If you run a print business near Hinckley or Lutterworth, or close to any of the other open groups, pick the one that suits you and book your first visit.
Finding a Printer you can trust
If you need a Printer, a recommendation from someone who has used them will tell you more than a price list. Ask about proofs and paper stock, and how they cope with a tight deadline. The Printer members listed above are known to the other businesses in their groups, and a member who has worked with them can tell you what to expect.
