Why the health insurance seat matters
Most health insurance work is won on trust. A business owner asking about private medical cover for staff, or a couple comparing policies after a long wait for treatment, will usually go to someone recommended by a person they already rely on. For this trade, that makes the seat in a networking group very important.
Each FindaBiz group keeps one seat per trade. Whoever holds the health insurance seat is the only business of that kind in the room, so when another member hears a client mention health cover, the referral goes to them. Members already hold the seat in FindaBiz Hinckley and FindaBiz Lutterworth, and you’ll find them below. The seat is open in six other groups, listed further down.
Health Insurances already in our network
Each group holds just one health insurance, so these are the businesses who own that seat in their group.

Who refers health insurance work and why
Financial advisers and mortgage advisers are often the first to hear about it. Someone reviewing their finances or buying a home tends to wonder what would happen if they fell ill. A protection insurance specialist covers income and life policies, but private medical cover is a separate conversation, so the three trades sit well together and each hands on the part that isn’t theirs. An insurance broker who handles business or home cover runs into the same gap.
Accountants and human resources consultants see the employer side. A company director weighing up staff benefits will ask their accountant about tax treatment and their HR adviser about what to offer, and both want a health insurance contact they can name with confidence. Business coaches hear the same question from owners trying to keep good people. First aid and mental health trainers, and care providers, regularly talk to employers and families about wellbeing, and that often turns into a question about cover.
What holding the seat looks like
Referrals rarely come from someone who has only met you once. Between meetings, FindaBiz members meet one to one to get to know each other’s businesses, so an accountant in the group learns how you compare policies, which clients you suit and how you explain the underwriting options. When a client asks, they can introduce you properly instead of just passing on a phone number.
If you are looking for a trusted health insurance business rather than offering one, the members shown below are people other local business owners already meet and work alongside.
Taking an open seat
You can come along to any group as a guest first, and the first visit is free. Pick one of the groups where the health insurance seat is open (they’re listed further down this page) and see how a meeting runs before you decide anything. If you’d like to meet people before travelling, FindaBiz also runs free online networking every Friday, open to anyone with a free account. Once you hold the seat in a group, you are the only health insurance business there, and the health insurance referrals members pass on come to you.
