Business networking in Nuneaton

Your nearest FindaBiz group to Nuneaton

If you run a business in or around Nuneaton, your nearest FindaBiz group is FindaBiz Nuneaton, which meets under a mile away at The Whitestone. It runs on the second Monday of each month from 18:00 to 20:00, and you can come along as a guest before you decide whether to join.

Three more groups meet within about ten miles. FindaBiz Hinckley, 3.8 miles away, meets on the last Monday of the month at The New Plough Inn, which gives Nuneaton businesses a second Monday evening to pick from. FindaBiz Coventry East (7.1 miles) and FindaBiz Lutterworth (10.3 miles) both meet on Tuesdays. You’ll find distances, member profiles and open seats for each group below.

One seat per trade in each group

Each FindaBiz group has one seat per trade. If a mortgage adviser sits in the Nuneaton group, they’re the only mortgage adviser there, and any mortgage referrals the group passes go to them. All four groups work this way, so a trade that’s taken at The Whitestone may still be open at Hinckley or Coventry East.

Between meetings, members arrange one to ones to learn enough about each other’s businesses to recommend them. A referral counts for more when the person passing it on can explain what you do and who you do it for.

Trades already in the groups near Nuneaton

The groups around Nuneaton already have an accountant, a bookkeeper, a financial adviser, a mortgage adviser and a conveyancing solicitor. These trades often pass work to each other: someone buying a house needs a mortgage and a solicitor, and may then want protection insurance or a will. There are also members covering protection insurance and trusts, wills and lasting power of attorney.

For marketing, there are members in copywriting, marketing, web design and print and promotional goods. Others work in human resources, business change, training and events, and first aid and mental health training, which suits employers who need help with staff. The groups also include a care provider, a driving instructor, an oven cleaner, a travel consultant and a utilities business.

If your trade isn’t listed, check the open seats further down to see which groups have room for it before you book a visit.

Visiting as a guest

Your first visit to any of these groups is free. Choose whichever evening fits your week: the second Monday in Nuneaton, the last Monday in Hinckley, the second Tuesday in Coventry East or the first Tuesday in Lutterworth. Bring a short description of what you do and the kind of customer you’d like to meet, so members know what to listen out for.

If evenings don’t work for you, FindaBiz also runs free online networking every Friday for anyone with a free account. It’s an easy way to meet members before visiting a group in person.
