Business networking in Warwick

Meeting other business owners near Warwick

The closest FindaBiz group to Warwick is Southam and Leamington Spa, which meets at Squab Storage in Warwick on the third Monday of each month from 18:00 to 20:00. If that date clashes with your diary, the Coventry group meets on the second Tuesday at Coventry Sports & Functions. Nuneaton and Hinckley are further out, and both meet on Monday evenings.

Below you’ll find the nearby groups and how far away they are, along with profiles of local members and the seats still open. Pick a group, come as a guest and see how a meeting runs before you decide anything.

How the groups around Warwick work

Every FindaBiz group keeps one seat per trade. A group has only one accountant and one photographer, so when another member hears of someone who needs that service, the referral goes to whoever holds the seat. Nobody across the table is chasing the same introductions as you.

Much of the real work happens between meetings. Members arrange one-to-ones to find out how each other’s businesses run and what a good customer looks like, and to work out which introductions would actually help. A web designer who has sat down with a marketing consultant knows when to mention them, and the marketing consultant can return the favour.

Trades already at the table

Members of these four groups do very different kinds of work, but some trades naturally pass work along a chain. A conveyancing solicitor, a mortgage adviser and a protection insurance specialist all deal with the same house buyers at roughly the same moment. Wills and estate planning, lasting power of attorney work, family law and financial advice tend to come up around the same life events. On the creative side, graphic designers, printers, web developers and suppliers of promotional goods often share clients who want a new brand carried through to signs, leaflets and a website.

Other members work in beauty, wellness, therapy and counselling, driving instruction, travel, recruitment, utilities, and training and events, and there are business coaches and accountants too. Seats are held group by group, so a trade that is taken in Southam and Leamington Spa may still be free in Coventry, Nuneaton or Hinckley. Check the open seats further down to see where your business would fit.

Trying FindaBiz before you visit

If an evening meeting is hard to fit around your work, FindaBiz runs free online networking every Friday, open to anyone with a free account. It’s an easy way to hear how members describe their businesses and ask for referrals before you walk into a room.

When you’re ready to meet a group in person, book a place as a guest. The first visit is free, and for most local owners the Warwick meeting at Squab Storage is the shortest trip.
